Mahindra Oja tractor range launched; check out price, models, other details here

Mahindra Tractors has launched the Mahindra Oja range of tractors, which includes lightweight four-wheel-drive (4WD) tractors developed in collaboration with Mitsubishi Mahindra Agriculture Machinery, Japan. The tractors are manufactured in India and are set to be exported to various countries across six continents. The Oja range is based on four platforms: sub-compact (20-26hp), compact (21-30hp), small utility (26-40hp), and large utility (45-70hp).




The range includes seven new tractor models across sub-compact, compact, and small utility platforms, with horsepower ranging from 20hp to 40hp. These tractors come equipped with category-first features, organized into three technology packs: Myoja (telematics pack), Proja (productivity pack), and Roboja (automation pack).

The Myoja pack provides telematics features such as GPS live location, service alerts, critical alerts, diesel monitoring, and coverage and trip calculators. The Proja pack offers features like creeper mode, compact engine technology, F/R shuttle, tilt and telescopic steering, and wet electric power take-off (PTO). The Roboja pack introduces features like auto PTO, auto implement lift, and auto one-side braking.

The pricing for some of the new models has been announced. For instance, the Mahindra Oja 2127 is priced at Rs 5,64,500 (ex-showroom, Pune), and the Mahindra Oja 3140 is priced at Rs 7,35,000 (ex-showroom, Pune). These tractors are expected to go on sale in October.

The Oja tractor range is manufactured at Mahindra's tractor facility in Zaheerabad, Telangana. The company sees the launch of the Oja range as a significant step towards transforming farming globally and plans to introduce the range in various markets, including Europe and the ASEAN region.
